Reagan National Airport is open and operating. FAA stopped flights at all commercial airports in the Washington, D.C., region for an extended timeframe earlier this evening. As a result, significant delays and some cancellations can be expected for the remainder of Friday evening. Please check with your airline to determine changes to your scheduled flight. Additional information:

  • Flight operations have resumed.
  • Airport parking facilities are open 24/7, including shuttle service.
  • Airport concessions will extend their hours this evening to accommodate customers.
  • TSA checkpoints will be open to process outbound travelers until tonight's final departure. The south checkpoint in Terminal 2 will close around 9 p.m. All Terminal 2 gates can be accessed from the north checkpoint, which will remain open.
