Reagan National Airport, Potomac Yard and Crystal City Metrorail stations will be closed this weekend, March 7-8, 2026, due to scheduled construction. Passengers should allow extra time to ride free Metro shuttle buses. Trains will not run from Pentagon City to Braddock Rd. Any customers headed from the airport will need to transfer from shuttles to trains at either Pentagon City (to Washington, D.C.) or Braddock Rd (to Alexandria) to continue their journey, depending on the direction they are traveling.

  • Follow signs from the rail station to meet buses.
  • Allow extra time for bus travel. Free shuttles will operate every 8-10 minutes.
  • Expect additional weekend closures on: May 9-10, May 16-17, May 30-31, June 6-7, June 13-14 and June 19-21.
