Airports Authority Police Help Ensure Vehicle Safety for Young Passengers
Child car seat installation help and safety checks will be available at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport on Saturday, June 11. The car seat demonstration will be held by the Airports Authority Police Department in an effort to ensure the safety of the youngest of travelers.
This weekend the eastbound 233 Bridge will be closed for construction. Vehicles attempting to enter the airport from US Route 1 in Crystal City will be detoured to GW Parkway from 11 p.m. on Friday, May 13 to 4 a.m. on Monday, May 16.**Allow extra time.**
Reagan National and Dulles International Runways Expected to Remain Closed Through Sunday, January 24. Significant snowfall and high winds, coupled with the continued closure of roads and public transportation in surrounding communities, make resumption of normal flight operations at the airports unlikely on Sunday.
